Summer & Winter X Games – Los Angeles, CA & Aspen, CO

Hailed as the foremost event in the action sports arena, X Games is in its 14th & 15th seasons, respectively.  With four competition packed days, this event requires months of preparation.  Having worked both on the production side and guest services, each aspect is about creating a unique and memorable experience.  Whether it is hosting industry guests, athletes, musicians, or corporate sponsors, my goal is always to create an “at home” environment that is unforgettable.

“Snow Angels Invitational”
Aspen, CO

“Snow Angels Invitational” – Aspen, CO

Featuring the top female snowboarders in the world, Snow Angels debuted in 2008 with continuation in 2009 & 2010.  Created from the idea of Olympic silver medalist and 4-time “X Games” gold medalist Gretchen Bleiler, our team was able to develop her vision into a one of a kind of event for these 15 women.

Along with a two-day head to head competition, other components include spa treatments, yoga classes, a VIP night on the town, and an environmental education symposium. Featured on FUEL TV and backed by many National brands including CoverGirl, Oakley and Herbal Essences, this exclusive event required complete start to finish event planning.

“Out To Lunch” Concert Series – Seattle, WA

Providing a daily dose of live music delivered to approximately 25,000 of Downtown Seattle’s residents, visitors and workforce each year, the “Out To Lunch” concert remains one of Seattle’s favorite summer traditions.

This 8-10 week series features 30+ bands, ranging from the Puget Sound’s most recognized talent, to nationally ranked acts playing in dozens of Seattle’s prominent downtown locations.  As coordinator of this series from 2005-2008, I have produced over 200 live shows, each providing a unique set of challenges with stage placement, sound, set-up and talent coordination.

About Me

“Sure, I’ll help with that…” and 6 years later, I still find myself not being able to resist the excitement of start to finish event planning.

Graduating from Seattle Pacific University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication I spent the next three years as Events Coordinator for The Downtown Seattle Association (www.downtownseattle.com).  This non-profit organization not only allowed me to sharpen my skills & discover my passion, but also become deeply involved with the culture, the arts, the music, and politics of downtown.  Fresh out of college, I produced my first “Out To Lunch” concert and from that point on quickly stepped into a full time role becoming the youngest member of the city planning committee.  In my time with the Downtown Seattle Association I saw our staff grow, our events develop and my passion for events mature.

In January of 2008 I took a position with the Aspen Skiing Company (www.aspensnowmass.com) and made the move to Aspen, Colorado.  I stepped off the plane in the am and into the half pipe of X Games by the pm.  From that point on I had found my next love, action sports!  Moving from city life and city planning, to mountain living and National recognized mountain sports, I also had found the career challenge I had been looking for.  The next two years were simply divided into “summer” and “winter” as each brought a unique set of visitors, athletes and events to our resort town. From intimate gatherings and elaborate birthday bashes, to the thrilling speeds of World Cup Ski racing, it was all about engaging the five senses of the participants. No matter the season, no matter the budget, the overall theme remained the same … create the event to remember!

And now, TCS Events & Production is born. I have traded the snow for the sand and moved west. While my home is officially in Southern California, I have taken my office on location to create experiences in locations throughout the western United States.
